Back from Whistler

This is a picture of me and my friend Samba. We spent four days together wrestling, playing and rough-housing. Samba is Nick and Fabiana's dog, he is a Maltese, Bichon Frise cross. We're good buddies. As you can see from my picture, after all that activity we were pretty tired. Samba is a crazy barker, he even barks at his reflection, I think he'd even bark at the wind if he could see it. I think everyone had a good time at our Whistler getaway. I'm sad to see all the people go, but to be perfectly honest it's too tiring to wrestle all the time. That pink shirt wearing little punk is relentless. Anyway, things are pretty much back to normal, Roger and Tracey went back to work today and we resumed the regular routine. Tracey told me that we're going to Kelowna for the long weekend, where ever that is. We're going to stay with some friends there. I'm looking forward to running around in a big yard, whoo hoo! I have heard rumors that there's a swimming pool there.... ooohhh scary!

Baby's room almost finished.

Here are some pictures of the almost finished baby room. All the Snoopy bedding arrived, can you see the mobile, doesn't it look very nibble-worthy? Unfortunately Roger and Tracey won't let me gnaw on it. Darn! Don't I look cute in the crib? Oh, btw I'm also starting my advanced obedience class on Wednesday. I don't know what to expect, but keep your fingers crossed for me.

Roger and Tracey working on the nursery.

Roger and Tracey have been off all week. It's been renovation central at the house. Roger finished painting the baby's room, painting the murals and even putting in the baseboards. It's been a loud and disruptive several days. I think everyone is glad that the room is almost finished. I think they still want to re-do the dresser. They decoupaged it with some pictures of snoopy, but I don't think they're entirely happy with it. The room is bright yellow, I think the Home Depot paint sample called it bicycle yellow. It looks really great, I just hope the baby likes it.

Tracey's friend Michelle also sent us three boxes of baby clothes. The little baby has more clothes than Roger, and he's not even born yet! Anyway, Roger and Tracey are very well prepared, they are doing their best to be ready.

Here are some pictures of the room and me helping. That's all for now.

My Graduation.

Well, I did it. I graduated from Basic Obedience yesterday, and not only that I graduated top of the class. Roger and Tracey wanted to put the graduation picture and a picture of my certificate on the blog. It was a difficult and long eight weeks, but I did it. I'm very proud of myself. I even managed to defend my title as "Musical Chair Champion" again this term. Jaime thinks I'm ready for the next class, which is way more advanced. I think I have to do things like broad jump, long sits and downs, and even better healing without a leash, sheesh who do you think I am Lassie? Anyway, I'm glad it's over, I'll have about three weeks to prepare for that one. Meanwhile, Roger and Tracey will be working on the nursery, painting, decorating and trying to settle on a name. They had an easier time naming me! Oh, I'd like to send a shout out to Lane who was visiting from Calgary. He wasn't able to stay very long, but he was nice to me. Next time maybe he can stay longer. Take care and all the best to you.

Tracey's glider/rocker arrived!

Tracey's glider/rocker is here. Grandma and Grandpa bought Tracey a new glider for the nursery. I was testing it out, boy is it comfy. It was putting me right to sleep. The chair goes well with the new floor don't you think? Grandpa ordered it from Costco online. It's very generous of them to get us such a nice gift. We've been lucky so far, many of our friends have offered to give us their baby items. Thanks to Steve and Krista, we got a crib, jolly jumper, and a bouncy chair, etc. Time for me to go to sleep.

Got some new pics of the baby!

Well here it is. The first real pic. of the baby. Tracey and Roger went to the ultrasound clinic and did the 3D/4D scan where they can actually decipher ultrasound pics into real photos. Can you see the baby's face and hands? Roger said that the baby was shy and eventhough Mom tried to do some coaxing, the baby kept putting his hands to his face. In the picture you can see the two hands and face pretty well. I can't wait to meet my new little brother soon. Yep, that's right, little brother. So much for those of you who thought it was a girl. Now if we could only think of a name. I like the name Obiwan, but I guess that would get confusing. I'm sure Roger will post some new pics soon.

They left me home alone all day!

Can you believe they left me home alone all day? I was home almost 9 hours by myself! Tracey and Roger are lucky that I can hold my business, afterall they could have come home to a real mess today. They promised me that they won't do it that often, so I don't have to worry too much.

Oh, this is a picture of Tracey's belly at 22 weeks. Don't mind the little dent around the belly, her sweatpants were too tight. Soon she won't be able to wear Roger's clothes either.

Uh oh, today is Wednesday right, I better get ready for my obedience class. Ruff, ruff!

Roger and Tracey are back to work.

Well Roger and Tracey are back to work now which means more time alone for me. I was getting used to having them around for the week. I know I'll have to wait till November to have someone home all the time. I'm really looking forward to it. I've never really had a chance to interact with a real human baby before (however, I did gnaw on Janey and Bill son's feet once).

Here's the picture that Roger posted on the Mazda 3 forum, he updated the profile picture. What do you think? The force is strong with me huh?

Tracey and Roger on Vacation.

Tracey and Roger have been off work for a week now. I don't think they could have picked a better week in terms of the weather. It's been hot and sunny every day. Tracey and Roger took me for a run a few days ago, boy were my little legs tired. Tracey rode her bike and Roger skated on his rollerblades. They kept making fun of me because my tongue was hanging out, pant... pant..... Oh, did I mention, I'm back in school again, obedience part one again. I'm way ahead of all the other dogs, but then again it's my second time around.

This is a picture the new baby, can you see the arm? Pretty amazing what ultrasound technology can do these days. It's like the baby is swimming in Tracey's belly. Oh, btw, the sale of grandma's house finally went through today... whew! It's been a long road, but I know that Roger is especially glad that it is all over now.

That's all for now, I think we're going for a walk again.

Tracey's Belly.

Tracey and Roger are going to the hospital tomorrow for their big test. We'll all be able to find out some vital information about the baby. I know that it's been a hard decision for them to make, but they're doing their best to make the most informed decision they can, afterall they want to do what's best for the baby. Here's a picture of Tracey and me with her belly at 17 weeks, her belly is sure growing, isn't it?

Whoo hoo, I've been Googled!

After some time now, I've finally been added to GOOGLE. I think I've made it now. I'm at the show, the big time, worldwide exposure. Ruff, ruff!

Good Memory.

Every morning Roger takes me for a walk around the neighborhood. He's always astonished that I remember things. C'mon, I can't remember people's birthdays or when my vet check is, but I can certainly remember where some of my friends live. On the days we walk past Snoopy's house, I always try to look into the yard to see if he's there. He's one of my smallest friends, but I'm always happy to see him. Here's a picture of me looking in the yard. I'm on my tippy toes. He wasn't there today, but maybe he'll be there next time.

Separated at birth.

I forgot to post the pictures of Roger and Tracey's teammate Danny, doesn't he look like Jose Penala from American Idol! Uncanny.

I don't know if I like my new food very much. The problem is that the food that Roger and Tracey eat smells so much more yummy. I know I'm not supposed to beg, but it's hard to resist.

Last day of May

I'd like to give a "shout-out" to all my new friends at bcmazda3.com, many of them have commented on how much they've enjoyed my blog. Whoo hoo! Ruff, ruff!

I been very lucky the past two evenings. Roger and Tracey took me to two new parks, Central Park and Trout Lake Park. All these new smells and new dogs that I've never met before, it's all very exciting. Maybe they'll take me somewhere new again tonight?

New Food!

Roger and Tracey have also changed my food, I'm eating Med-i-cal Dental Formula now. It's great, it comes in these small nugget size portions, I've been sneaking them to my special spot on the stairs and eating them. here's a picture.

I got to go with Roger and Tracey to the Fireballs softball game. Those crazy beagles, Rosco and Elliot weren't there this time. That crazy Rosco chewed right through both leashes, boy was that guy from American Idol upset, I think his name was Danny. He was wearing a crazy spiderman suit.

Victoria Day Long Weekend!

So many things have happened in the last few days. On Friday, Roger and Tracey let me sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa's house. I think R&T said that they were going to see Da Vinci's movie or something like that. Tom Hanks playing Da Vinci, I don't know, I'm not a huge fan of movies.

On Saturday we went over to Grandma Janey's house to accept offers on her place. We stayed there for two hours running around on the new floor, it's really slippery. Anyway, I think Roger and Tracey accepted the highest offer, which was 183k, can you believe it? The real estate market in Vancovuer is crazy! We'll have to wait until Friday for the deal to go through as the subject removal date is then. Let's hope that everything goes well. (fingers and paws crossed.)

On Saturday night, we went over to Andrew's house where I got to see Samba again. We wrestled and played for a few hours, boy was I pooped!

On Sunday, Roger and Tracey went shopping for some new clothes. I think Tracey bought some new pants and shirts, for her ever expanding belly. I stayed home and slept. They came home after and we got to go for a two hour walk around Stanley Park, but we had to cut it short due to the rain.

So today is Monday morning, Tracey is sleeping and Roger is polishing his car. I'm wondering if I want to go outside to do my business. It's really raining hard now. I guess I should be happy because today is a holiday, cause every other monday R&T have to go to work. All this typing has made me tired. I'm going back to sleep now. (Yawn.....)

Update

Roger is crazy about his new car. He spent two hours this morning washing and waxing it today. I watched him do it in the garage this morning, but I got tired so I took a nap on his seat. He was polishing so hard that he was working up a sweat!

Roger told me that Grandma Janey's house is going under some renovation, he's arranged to have the floors re-done in laminante. Roger went there this morning to pull all the baseboards out. Andrew also came over for a visit. I was very excited to see him.

Oh, Grandma and Grandpa are back from Reno too. Grandma got sick from something she ate, but good thing she's feeling better now. Grandpa also picked up a cough, the doctor said it might be an infection. They think it's from all the smoke in the Casinos in Reno. All they wanted was a little get-away, but they both came back sick. Poor peeps.

Grandparents are in Reno!

Well, grandma and grandpa are in Reno playing the nickel slots. We saw them off on monday morning. Roger had to wake up extra early to take me out to do my business, can you believe 5:30am! Luckily, I can't really tell time.

Tracey's been feeling super tired lately, it's something about her placenta growing and stealing all her energy. I don't know what that means, but it does mean that there are more naps for me and Tracey. Roger has been super busy with the new car, he's claying it, polishing it, and even waxing it. Can you believe her waxed the car for almost 2.5 hours the other day, he's crazy.

I got a bit of a trim the other day too, Roger said it's because my hair is dragging on the ground. It makes things a bit messy I guess. I don't really like it though. Roger and Tracey said that it looks better.
