Falling behind on entries...

I'm falling behind lately on entries. With the first day of summer arriving the other day, the family schedule has really seemed to pick up. We have so many things on the agenda, camping, mini vacations, photoshoots, and overall summer fun.

Roger just returned from Toronto from his business trip on Thursday and even since then it's been a whirlwind of activities. It's definitely hard for Tracey to manage everything while Roger is away. Having that extra body and set of hands really does make the work lighter. Also, Melody picked up some kind of stomach bug from the night of her graduation and she was throwing up all night. With Roger away, Tracey had to clean up and try to comfort Melody. I'm happy to report she's doing very well, and back to normal. In fact, for last night's dinner she had three helpings of macaroni and her full portion of Grandma's chicken.

Roger's birthday party fiesta went off without a hitch. The photobooth and the taco bar were great successes. Having that many people in the house is always a challenge, but from the look of things a great time was had by all. The family is heading out camping to Alice Lake for a Canada Day long weekend trip. They'll be joined by a couple of other families, I'm sure a fun time will be had by all.
